How do private events work?
Every bespoke training solution kicks off with a detailed needs assessment evaluating your learning and development aspirations. Following this, our team of consultants and instructional designers will work closely with you to identify desired learning outcomes and programme architecture. Finally, we will select the trainer most suited to your specific needs to deliver the programme. Private Training events can be organised to run at your company site, the Expleo Academy Training Centre or alternatively at another location of your choice.

Development & Delivery of customised training
The Challenge
A leading automotive organisation needed to train a large and diverse audience in Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) principles, spanning multiple roles, seniority levels, and technical backgrounds. The challenge was to ensure consistent knowledge transfer across all participants while addressing varied levels of prior experience and functional focus.
Adding to the complexity, the client required the inclusion of customer-specific content—tailored to their internal processes, tools, and compliance expectations—alongside standard ASPICE frameworks. This meant that off-the-shelf training formats would not suffice.
To maximise reach and learning impact, the organisation needed a flexible, scalable training solution that could accommodate different delivery modes, from short introductory sessions to in-depth certification courses, without compromising quality or consistency. The format also had to support both on-site and remote participation, to meet the needs of distributed teams across multiple regions.
The Solution
To meet the client’s complex requirements, Expleo Academy designed and developed customised ASPICE training materials, tailored to both the standard model and the client’s specific internal processes and tools.
Our team collaborated with subject-matter experts and key stakeholders to incorporate customer-specific content into the training design—ensuring relevance, contextual accuracy, and practical applicability. The material was structured to be modular and flexible, allowing it to be delivered in various formats depending on audience needs, time availability, and learning objectives.
The final solution included:
Introductory briefings for awareness sessions
Role-specific training paths for different functions (e.g. developers, project managers, quality engineers)
Full certification preparation modules for in-depth learners
Delivery options including on-site workshops, virtual classrooms, and self-paced digital content
This format allowed for efficient, scalable training across all business units, while maintaining consistency in messaging and learning outcomes.
The Result
The training programme successfully reached 776 participants across multiple business units, regions, and functional roles. Learners engaged in a mix of introductory awareness sessions and full certification-level courses, depending on their role and prior experience.
The training was delivered through a blended approach, combining on-site workshops with live online sessions to maximise accessibility and accommodate global teams. This flexible delivery model enabled consistent participation regardless of location, time zone, or availability.
Feedback from participants highlighted the value of the role-specific content and the clarity of the customised materials. The organisation now benefits from a more uniform understanding of ASPICE principles, better prepared teams for customer audits, and a scalable training model that can be reused for onboarding and continuous development.
