There is no prerequisite course or certification. However, some Agile training and experience on an Agile Team is recommended. Pre-reading suggestions are issued in a welcoming email to those registered for a course.

While not a prerequisite, attendees may consider attending the SAFe for Teams course with their teams.

The course is intended for anyone working in any role on an Agile team that is part of an Agile Release Train, within a Value Stream. It works best when whole teams attend the course together, as they get to look at their delivery pipeline in detail together.
