Was bedeutet Context (of a System)?<\/h3>\n

Das\u00a0International Software Architecture Qualification Board<\/a>\u00a0 (ISAQB<\/a>) definiert den Begriff “Context (of a System)”<\/em> wie folgt:<\/p>\n

Unter Context (of a System) versteht man “<\/p>\n

\u201cDefines the relationships, dependencies, and interactions between the system and its environment: People, systems, and external entities with which it interacts.\u201d (quoted from Rozanski-Woods<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Another definition from arc42
\u201cSystem scope and context – as the name suggests – delimits your system (i.e. your scope) from all its communication partners (neighboring systems and users, i.e. the context of your system). It thereby specifies the external interfaces.\u201d (quoted from docs.arc42.org<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Distinguish between business<\/em> and technical<\/em> context:<\/p>\n

<ul <\/p>\n

  • The business<\/strong> context (formerly called logical<\/em> context) shows the external relationships from a business- or non-technical perspective.
    It abstracts from technical, hardware or implementation details
    Input-\/Output relationships are named by their business meaning<\/em> instead of their technical properties.<\/li
    \n
  • The technical<\/strong> context shows technical details, like transmission channel, technical protocoll, IP-address, bus or similar hardware details.
    Embedded systems, for example, often care for hardware-related information very early in development. <\/li
    <\/ul<br<\/div>\n
